“ Lovely place for afternoon tea with lots of cakes and treats to try. The portion sizes for the sandwiches per person was small but due to the amount of scones and sweet treats we weren't able to finish the whole tower. Some of the cakes with jam felt too sweet for my liking but tasty nonetheless. I especially enjoyed the raspberry tartlet and both sweet and savory scones. Cute crockery and very traditional tea party feel. The group loved it and especially enjoyed the aesthetics of the cafe. ”
“ Stopped here for lunch as we were passing and we pleasantly surprised. We had two grilled sandwiches (goats cheese, walnut and onion, and tuna and cheese) and drinks. The folks was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Portion sizes were good and we really enjoyed our lunch here. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. ”
“ The Lavender Bakehouse is a very popular place to go and grab something and drink. Great place if you want coffee and cake especially if you are doing lots of walking around in the Cotswold. The staff are great and friendly. You can even bring your dogs in as well as long as they are well behaved. Parking can be a bit tight but if you block someone in, just let them know at the desk. If you are in the area, you have to visit this place. ”
“ Another delicious lunch today. Good selection of sandwiches, toasties and baked potatoes as well as other choices such as chicken skewers and quiche. Amazing salads available. Nice coffee served too. ”
“ Me and my partner came here for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Reuben sandwich and it tasted incredible - the meat, the bread and the pickles were so full of flavour. The chai coffee was amazing too and I highly recommend it. There are a variety of cakes and little gifts of various things to buy in the shop. Toilets were available upstairs. There is free car parking directly outside. ”
“ We had the smashed avocado and the salted beef toasted sandwich. Both were delicious, especially the toasted sandwich. Portion sizes were great too. For drinks we both had the chai latte which were lovely. We don't live nearby but if we're in the area again we will definitely come back here and try something different off their menu. There is a free car park outside. ”
“ Took my Nana to the Lavender Bakehouse for her 83rd birthday. She loved every bit of it. Drinks were served nice and fast, food came out quick and there was plenty of all of us. The staff let us know while booking the bathroom is upstairs incase it was an issue. Little cold upstairs but not freezing. ”
“ Really lovely place. Staff are friendly. Chill lovely vibes with amazing food. The cream tea is 100% worth the price. I never knew there was an upstairs with a few bits to shop from so that was a very nice surprise. There is a car park for the caffe or off road parking a short walk down the road. ”
